MCLEAN CITIZENS FOUNDATION REACHING OUT TO COMMUNITY
MCF grant applications now being accepted
McLean, VA - January 21, 2006 - The McLean Citizens Foundation (MCF) is now accepting grant proposals for its Winter 2006 funding cycle, which will be reviewed by Trustees in February. The Foundation is the charitable arm of the McLean Citizens Association and provides grants for projects that actively serve the citizens of McLean in the areas of civic endeavors, the arts, environment, education and social services.
Now in its 26th year of giving, MCF has awarded grants to community organizations totaling nearly $1,000,000. Non-profit organizations interested in applying for MCF grants can obtain applications on the web at www.mcleancitizensfoundation.org.
Most recent MCF grant recipients include McLean Volunteer Fire Department, Clemyjontri Park, Earth Sangha, McLean Project for the Arts, Langley High School and McLean Trees Foundation.
